This Privacy Policy applies to the Naratica marketing website at naratica.com and any related subdomains (e.g. demo.naratica.com). The website is operated by TMZ Software ("we," "our," or "us"), the company behind the Naratica news publishing platform.

Naratica is a SaaS platform that enables publishers to build, manage, and grow their digital news operations — including editorial workflows, mobile apps, subscriptions, advertising, and multi-language distribution.

2. Scope of This Policy

This policy covers data processed when you visit naratica.com — for example, when you browse our marketing pages, request a demo, or contact our sales team.

If you are a publisher or newsroom using the Naratica platform to operate your own news site, data processing within that platform is governed by a separate Data Processing Agreement (DPA) signed at onboarding. Your readers' data is processed on your behalf and under your privacy policy, not this one.

  • Email delivery — used solely to route enquiry replies and trial notifications; no marketing lists are shared.
  • Analytics — aggregate, anonymised traffic statistics; no personal identifiers are shared with the analytics provider.

Each sub-processor is contractually bound to process data only for the purposes we specify and to maintain appropriate security standards.

8. Data Retention

We retain contact and enquiry data for up to 3 years from the last interaction, or until you request deletion — whichever is sooner. Trial account data is deleted within 30 days of trial expiry if no subscription is started. Anonymised analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including TLS encryption in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
